Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection

Gordon & MacPhail’s Private Collection is a prestigious range of small batch and single cask whiskies showcasing some of Scotland’s rarest and oldest spirits. Around 400 releases have appeared over the past three decades. The series began in 1993 with a 1942 Mortlach 50-year-old, limited to just 24 bottles, while larger releases emerged around 2000. Most modern editions are single casks bottled at 45% ABV or cask strength.

The range highlights Gordon & MacPhail’s exceptional reserves, including a 55-year-old Glenlivet 1943 and many whiskies over 50 years old, with the oldest so far being a 74-year-old Glenlivet 1949 released in 2023.
