Infrequent Flyers is a range of single malt whiskies released by independent bottlers Alistair Walker Whisky Company, which was founded in Glasgow in 2018. The first of the new Alistair Walker Whisky Company’s Infrequent Flyers whiskies appeared in 2019, with the Infrequent Flyers name reflecting Walker’s choice to deliberately focus on Scotland’s more obscure distilleries, as these lesser-known lights of the Scotch whisky firmament offer bottlers greater value in the cask market.
The Infrequent Flyers range quickly made a name for itself with a prolific output of high quality whiskies at very reasonable prices. By the end of 2025 over 150 Infrequent Flyers bottlings had been released, with some excellent casks from near-anonymous distilleries including Strathmill, Glen Spey and Tormore alongside sumptuous drams from stalwart, perennially unfashionable names like Linkwood, Macduff and Teaninich.
