The latest Speyside (M) 18-year-old from Signatory Vintage, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2026 as Exceptional Cask #18 in the independent bottler’s popular 100 Proof series.

The identity of the distillery is not officially stated, with Signatory using the designation Speyside (M) for these releases. The “(M)” bottlings are widely understood to originate from Macallan, although they are presented by Signatory as undisclosed Speyside single malts.

This 18-year-old was matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, bringing together mature Speyside spirit with the rich influence of active sherry-seasoned oak. Expect a character centred around dried fruits, dark fruitcake, nuts and warming spice, balanced by mature oak and the weight of the underlying malt.

Bottled at 57.1% ABV, equivalent to the traditional 100° proof, the whisky is presented un-chillfiltered and with no added colour. Released as Exceptional Cask Edition #18, it continues Signatory’s series of full-strength, heavily sherried Speyside (M) bottlings.
