Our dedicated in-house packing team ensures that your bottles are wrapped and packed using bespoke materials designed for maximum safety during transit. We understand the importance of preserving each bottle, and that’s why we go the extra mile to prepare them securely.

In line with our commitment to sustainability, we strive to utilise 100% biodegradable packing materials whenever possible. These materials can be reused or easily recycled, minimising their environmental impact. Additionally, our delivery boxes are made from 100% recyclable cardboard, reinforcing our dedication to sustainable practices.

To ensure reliable delivery, we have partnered with DHL, the world’s leading logistics company. Over the years, DHL has proven to be the most trusted delivery service we’ve encountered, and we appreciate their focus on providing safe and efficient transport. Our dedicated DHL manager is always available to assist us with any concerns that may arise, ensuring a smooth shipping experience.

For international deliveries, we favor DHL for their unique capability of using their own aircraft. This feature allows us to ship alcohol to various destinations around the world securely and reliably.

All orders within the United States are delivered by our specialised logistics partner. This allows us to include shipping fees, US taxes and FDA fees, within our delivery charges. However, this excludes state taxes, which may vary based on your location.

Important Delivery Information

All deliveries have to be signed for and will only be left with persons over the legal drinking age in their respected country. Delivery times should be taken as a guide only and cannot be guaranteed.

DHL will no longer leave a card notifying you they have attempted to deliver your parcel. Instead your delivery status will be updated online which you must monitor yourself. You can track your delivery via your Whisky-Online Shop account or by clicking the link in the original delivery email.

Deliveries can not be left in a safe place and must be signed for by someone over the legal drinking age in the respected country. Our courier can not give specific time slots and therefore deliveries are an all day appointment.

Please note that if there is no-one available to sign for the delivery and the delivery fails on 2 or more occasions, then additional charges may be incurred for any further delivery attempts.

If for any reason you make alterations to the delivery outside of Whisky-Online Shop this is at your own risk. This includes arranging collection for a service point. Please note that if you make use of such services we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages as this is a unauthorised third party service.

Before signing for any goods, all parcels must to be checked carefully. If the seal is broken or if the package is damaged or wet, sign carrier's sheet strictly in accordance with the actual condition. It is not sufficient to sign "unexamined". In the rare event your order is damaged or there is an issue, please retain all packaging, contact us immediately with photographs and we will endeavour to rectify any problems.

UK Delivery Options

Click & Collect Blackpool - Free

• Shop on Whisky-Online.com & select your item(s) for Click & Collect at the checkout.

• All products are in stock and are available for collection during our opening hours and will be available to collect from our shop, usually within 1 hour.

• Once you have completed your order, you’ll receive an email when your order is ready for collection. If you wish to receive a text, you’ll have the option to add your mobile number at the order confirmation screen.

• Please wait for your Email or Text notification to confirm that your order is ready for collection before setting off.

• Bring your confirmation email when you come to collect your order and some form of identification.

Standard 3-5 Working Days over £120 - Free

This offer is only valid for orders delivered to Mainland UK and Isle of Man and for orders totalling £120 or more. Principles apply to that of Standard 3-5 Working Days delivery.

Remote Areas over £180 - Free

This offer is only valid for orders delivered to Highland & Islands and for orders totalling £180 or more. Principles apply to that of Highland & Islands delivery.

Standard 3-5 Working Days - £5.40

Our standard delivery option is for the UK mainland only and is estimated to be with you in 3-5 working days but is often within 1-2 days. If you require your parcel to be guaranteed Next Day or 48 Hours please select the relevant option at the checkout.

Remote Areas - £18

We do offer delivery to the Highlands & Islands of Scotland — due to the couriers classing certain areas as remote, we do regrettably have to charge accordingly. However, we do understand how frustrating this is for residents of these locations and therefore to make it economical for us as business, we do offer Free shipping for orders totalling £180 or more.

Courier 48 Hours (Orders before 2pm Monday-Wednesday) - £7

If you require your order to be delivered within 48 hours, you must place your order before 2pm Monday - Wednesday. Unfortunately we cannot offer this service for weekend deliveries or Banks Holidays.

Next Day Delivery (Orders before 2pm Monday-Thursday) - £9

If you require next day delivery you must place your order Monday - Thursday before 2pm. Unfortunately we cannot offer this service for weekend deliveries or Banks Holidays.

How to calculate delivery costs for orders outside the UK

The easiest way to pre calculate delivery costs is to login to your account and select your delivery address. You can then add the products to your cart and proceed to the delivery options page - our system will then automatically calculate your delivery costs.

Alternatively you can calculate your delivery costs by using the table below. Simply click your country and cross reference the Shipping Rate number displayed on each product page to the table below.

Non-UK Delivery Address

Please note that goods purchased in the UK but delivered outside the UK will not have UK VAT added at the time of purchase but may be subject to VAT and possibly customs import duties on arrival at the destination country.

• Duties and taxes are charged by Customs in the destination country and the receiver is responsible for paying them.

• Our courier DHL will pay the charges on the receiver's behalf and collect payment from the receiver prior to or on delivery. There may be an admin fee associated with this service.

• Deliveries outside the UK, particularly to EU countries may be subject to delays due to post-Brexit administrative issues. We are unable to provide refunds on purchases which have been delayed, destroyed or returned to us due to unpaid fees and/or taxes or due to any other customs or administrative issues.

• Please note due to ongoing post-Brexit issues we are unable to ship to the following countries until further notice France, Poland, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Czechia, Sweden.
