Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 50.9%
No-one does Mortlach like Gordon & MacPhail. The 1930s-1950s vintages released throughout the past few decades have passed into whisky folklore and you'd struggle to find a better example of a distillery whose indie bottlings have far surpassed the quality of any official releases.
The arrival of this Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection Mortlach 1974 46-year-old is therefore cause for celebration. 197 bottles of this Mortlach 1974 have been produced from a refill sherry butt #8254, and bottled at a mouth-watering 50.9%. It goes without saying that this 46-year-old Mortlach will be a fabulous dram.
