Big Peat is a blended malt Scotch whisky created by independent bottler Douglas Laing & Co., first introduced in 2009 as part of the company's Remarkable Regional Malts range. Made exclusively from single malt whiskies distilled on Islay, Big Peat brings together the island's distinctive smoky, peaty and maritime characteristics.

The range includes the original Big Peat bottling alongside limited editions, age-statement releases and special single cask bottlings. Traditionally featuring malt whiskies from distilleries including Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen, Big Peat has become a popular choice for fans of heavily peated Islay whisky.
