Aroma has subtle hints of sherry, vanilla and smoke. This is a dark, smooth and oily whisky - I noticed flavours of dark chocolate, tar, peat and salt. The real character comes through in the aftertaste - lingering peat and salt. Unmistakably Islay, and superb!

Another cracker from Signatory. This is a step up from the already excellent 16yr for me. All the same great flavours but richer with a longer finish. Worth the bump in price and one of the best sherried whiskies I’ve tried.

This is my find of the year, been off my radar until now. What an excellent whisky, well done Signatory Vintage. This is a very well made whisky.
