Sheestown 1.1 forms part of Waterfords Single Farm Origin series and is made using 100% Irish malted barley.
Sheestown is known locally as "the place of the lush grass", and is home to Philip O'Brien who has farmed this land for half a century.
This whisky was matured in 35% American first-fill oak, 21% virgin American oak, 25% premium French oak and 19% casks previously used to age Vin Doux Naturel fortified wines.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: An amber hue with lingering oils.
Nose: Earthy notes on the nose with clove, poached pears and honeycomb.
Palate: Gentle spice mix greets the palate with lasting cloves that dries with citrus peel marmalade and fresh honey.
Finish: A long spicy finish that leaves a warm tingle on the front of the tongue.
