After spending most of the late 1990s-early 2000s golden era of whisky lying silent, Tullibardine was resurrected in 2003. The spirit distilled at Tullibardine in those new revival days is now at maturity and finally ready to show the world what this often overlooked Highland distillery is all about.

As ever, independent bottlings are leading the way, with Hannah Whisky Merchants offering up this rather exciting looking Tullibardine 2006 14-year-old single cask at a muscular 57.3% as part of their Lady of the Glen series.

175 bottles came from Cask 618, a refill barrel of Tullibardine 2006 that underwent finishing in an ex-Oloroso sherry cask which has imparted a lovely dark golden hue - and no doubt plenty of nutty, dried fruit flavours - to the malt.
