From the new Soleo Collection range at Glenrothes is the 18 years old.

Glenrothes have moved away from naming their whiskies after vintages and have gone down the age statement route.

Soleo is the traditional process of sun-drying the grapes that are used in the production of sherry. The grapes turn from bright green to yellow and finally to deep purple and this is reflected in the new packaging.

100% matured in sherry seasoned casks, and a high proportion being 1st fill this is a lovely sweet dram with a nice sweet-spice finish.
