The Teeling 24-year-old Vintage Reserve was voted the Worlds Best Single Malt Whiskey back in 2019 so this 28-year-old bottling has a lot to live up to.
Made up of the same distillate as the 24-year-old and aged an extra four years we are sure this is going to be a winner too.
It was initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Sauternes casks and bottled at 46% and limited to just 4,000 bottles.

Some qualities of a real whiskey here it seems. Nothing wrong per se, some may prefer it one way or another, but, tastes nice overall to me. Being ultra picky... a bit sweet, and oddly a tiny bit bitter on the after taste. Still an enjoyable whiskey.
