Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46%
Official Tamdhu is often heavily-sherried, so it's nice to see a hogshead for a change. This 12 year old single cask from the 2007 vintage was bottled at the end of 2019 by Douglas Laing for their Provenance range, yielding 390 bottles at 46%.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Shows early sweet caramel with later spices, honey and cereal.
Palate: Tongue-pricklingly spiced with liquorice, aniseed and late barley.
Finish: More vanilla'd with the same, now more warming spices evident
