Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 46%
Gordon & MacPhail's revamped Distillery Labels series have recently upped their bottling strength to a welcome 46%, so this Strathisla 2008 is even more of a guaranteed winner than ever.
Strathisla is one of those distilleries that's too important for blends (in this case Chivas Regal) to be fully marketed as a single malt. Thankfully Gordon & MacPhail have a long history of bottling top-notch Strathisla single malts under the previously semi-official Distillery Labels series. A great distillery, top bottler and lovely retro label packaging: this is sure to be in high demand.
