This 16-year-old Speyside (M) 2005 is Edition 13 of the Exceptional Cask 100 Proof range, and matured in Oloroso sherry hogshead casks before being bottled without colouring or chill filtration at the standard 100 UK Imperial proof, aka 57.1%. These teenage Speyside (M) indie bottlings from Signatory are incredible value when compared to, say, Macallan at this age.

Great value bottle from Signatory - full of rich Madeira notes and slight edgy funk of the distillate come together beautifully! Takes water very well.
It’s a good flavour similar to the secret appetite (M) but with even more flavour. You have to add a bit of water to get it to 50% and the flavour is released in full.
