The latest small batch of 100-Proof Speyside (M) single malt Scotch whisky bottled in 2026 by independent bottlers Signatory Vintage is finally here.
Edition #16 is a 2008 vintage and marks the third Speyside (M) release under the 100-Proof Exceptional Cask series. This 17-year-old technically undisclosed Speysider has been matured in 1st fill Oloroso sherry butts.
While the distillery remains technically undisclosed, this Speyside (M) bottling features a distinct flavour profile that is widely noted to taste just like Macallan.
As always these 100-Proof
Exceptional Cask releases are bottled without colouring or chill filtration from a small batch of casks and bottled at the ripe old strength of 57.1%, equivalent to 100 Proof in the old UK imperial system.

I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
