A 21-year-old Speyside single malt, distilled on 11th July 2005 and bottled on 21st August 2026 by Signatory Vintage as part of their prestigious Symington's Choice range.

The identity of the distillery is not officially stated, with Signatory using the designation Speyside (M) for these releases. The “(M)” bottlings are widely understood to originate from Macallan, although they are presented by Signatory as undisclosed Speyside single malts. These long-aged Speyside (M) releases have become particularly sought after, with maturation frequently centred around high-quality sherry casks.

This 2005 vintage spent its full 21 years maturing in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, cask number #104, before being bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.3% ABV. The single cask yielded 703 bottles.

This is one of a pair of 21-year-old Speyside (M) single casks released by Signatory Vintage from the 2005 vintage, alongside sister cask #102. Both were matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, offering an interesting opportunity to compare two closely related casks from the same distillation year.

A richly sherried addition to the Symington's Choice collection, combining more than two decades of maturation with the concentrated influence of a first-fill Oloroso butt.
