The 2022 release of Plantation Fiji is from the 2009 vintage and was aged for 13 years before being bottled by owners Maison Ferrand in the eye-catching Under The Sea series with its tropical fish label.
This Plantation Fiji 2009 13 year old came from a small batch of casks that enjoyed 10 years of tropical ageing and three years of further maturation in France, and has been bottled at a tempting 49.5% without any added sugar or colouring.

Nose: Very fruity with pastry notes, then becomes more floral and herbal with time, evolving to banana, french toast and almond.
Palate: Fresh, balanced, with bitter orange and tropical fruit elements. Evolves to spicy notes.
Finish: Long and very spicy, followed by fresh minty tones.
