Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46%
A relative newcomer to the Old Pulteney core range, this 15-year-old Old Pulteney made its debut in 2018 during owner Inver House's major shakeup of their single malt brands and bridges the gap between the entry-level 12-year-old and the richer 18-year-old.
Like most of the rest of the new Old Pulteney range, this 15-year-old is double matured, beginning its ageing in ex-bourbon casks before a secondary maturation in Spanish oak sherry-seasoned casks. A versatile, elegantly balanced dram.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Rich amber.
Nose: Intense yet balanced. Bursting with rich dried fruit, ripe apples and citrus, with honey sweetness and a generous chord of creamy vanilla. Slightly chocolaty and floral in the background.
Palate: Fragrant spices and Christmas cake, with layers of chocolate and a distinct dark toffee sweetness.
Finish: There is a hint of salty sea air on the finish, a clear connection to the influence of the sea on this single malt.
