Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled By: Gordon & MacPhail
75cl / 40%
The magnificent Old Elgin 50-year-old is one of the harder to find 50-year-olds bottled by Gordon & MacPhail.
This whisky was distilled at an undisclosed Speyside distillery in the winter of 1940 and matured in oak casks at that distillery before being moved to Gordon & MacPhail's warehouse and bottled after 50 years in cask.
This was one of several amazing 50-year-olds under the Book Of Kells label that Grodon & MacPhail released between the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Presented in a lovely velvet-lined box with an accompanying certificate, the bottle is a hand made crystal decanter and comes with a matching stopper.
