Lowland Single Grain Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Signatory Vintage 70cl / 52.5%
A long-aged single cask grain whisky from North British, one of the few surviving Lowland grain distilleries.
Unusually, this North British 1991 vintage was filled to a refill sherry butt, which makes it an even better thing that it was rescued by Signatory Vintage before being poured into one of joint owners Diageo and Edrington's blending vats.
Signatory have bottled this North British 1991 as a 30-year-old, with the butt yielding 440 bottles at a respectable cask strength of 52.5%. This should be very tasty stuff.
