Japanese Single Malt Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 45%
An old bottle of the splendid Nikka Yoichi 10-year-old Japanese single malt whisky. Yoichi was the first distillery built by Japanese whisky guru Masataka Taketsuru after his departure from Suntory in the 1930s and still uses the traditional coal-fired distillation process to make their delicious medium-peated malt whisky.
Nikka Yoichi 10-year-old was discontinued at the height of the Japanese whisky supply crisis in 2015, but in July 2022 it was announced that it would be relaunched in Japan by the end of the year, so hopefully this much-loved dram will soon make a return to these shores.
