Maxime Trijol produce two XO cognacs - this Grande Champagne XO is the family's flagship in this category, distilled in small 2,500 litres stills from grapes grown only in the Grande Champagne region.
This award-winning Grande Champagne XO from Maxime Trijol is a rich, but gentle, contemplative brandy with plenty of subtle depths to explore. A good match for a medium cigar.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Topaz with flashes of gold.
Nose & Palate: A full-bodied nose of aromatic richness and hints of liquorice and touches of vanilla and cedar wood. Good length on the palate with a very smooth, layered finish.
To be enjoyed neat at 20°C to 25°C (70° to 80°F), start with the nose to discover all the power, finesse and subtlety of the first Cognac growth, before taking a comfortable sip to be rolled slowly around the palate before swallowing.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
Having been fortunate enough to visit Scotland’s little gem distillery twice in the past ( amongst several others) it soon became my favourite dram. This like all its predecessors is a pleasure to savour and a real treat . The only problem is the self discipline required to make the bottle last long enough and show the respect and gratitude to its makers in producing this and in my humble opinion all others from Scotland’s little gem.
