Bottled in the early 1960s and containing cask strength whisky distilled at Macallan between the late 1940s and early 1950s, this is a fascinating and incredibly rare example of old style Macallan outside its normal sherry comfort zone. From a time when it was much more akin to an old style highland malt. This is true snapshot of history and in stunning condition too.

To find such an early example of the 'As We Get It' series is very difficult these days, let alone to find a small batch cask strength malt bottled in the early 1960s at all. This should be a stunning and fascinating dram. A real liquid time capsule.
