A bottle of Macallan's A Night on Earth in Scotland, the distillery's tribute to Scotland's legendarily joyous Hogmanay celebrations to welcome in the New Year each December 31st. This edition is from the first release of A Night on Earth, bottled in 2021.
Macallan A Night on Earth in Scotland is assembled from a mix of first fill ex-bourbon casks balanced by American and European oak sherry-seasoned casks, and the bottle's label and packaging have been decorated with beautiful illustrations by Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn, celebrating Scotland's unique Hogmanay joie de vivre.

Palate: Soft velvety sweetness reminiscent of shortbread with a rich mouth coating, vanilla sweetness, with lightly toasted marshmallow, dried oranges, fig and cinnamon.
Finish: Medium finish with sweet butterscotch and freshly baked biscuits.

I bought this as a present then did the tour with my brother at Lindores Abbey distillery in Newburgh Fife.The bottle i bought from Whisky-online was cheaper than at Lindores ,very happy again and a very quick delivery.
