Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 43%

Distilled during one of the rarest periods in the history of the Tobermory Distillery, this official Ledaig 1974 Vintage was bottled in 1995 and captures the character of the distillery's heavily peated spirit at a time when production was exceptionally limited.

Originally established as Ledaig Distillery, the site lay silent for decades after closing in 1930 before briefly returning to production between 1972 and 1975. During this short revival, a small quantity of peated whisky was distilled under the Ledaig name before the distillery once again fell silent. When production resumed in 1979 under the Tobermory name, the surviving stocks from the 1970s became some of the distillery's most historically significant whiskies.

This 1974 vintage was released in the mid-1990s after Burn Stewart acquired the distillery and began its gradual revival. Bottled at 43% ABV, it represents one of the earliest official releases to showcase the distinctive peated style that would later establish Ledaig as one of Scotland's most respected island single malts.
