This particular bottling comes from single cask S100211019A and was bottled in 2015 at a robust 57.1% ABV. The intense maturation conditions at Kavalan’s distillery accelerate the whisky’s development, creating a richness and concentration of flavour that belies its relatively youthful age. Deep notes of dark chocolate, espresso, dried figs, dates, black cherries and polished oak are balanced by warming spices and a luxurious, syrupy texture.
