A single cask Inchgower 2011 13-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2025 by Signatory Vintage for their Cask Strength Collection. Inchgower 2011 cask 110 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at its full natural cask strength.
This 13-year-old Inchgower 2011 came from single cask 110, a first fill Marsala hogshead cask that yielded 309 bottles at a very hefty natural cask strength of 59.6%. Marsala is a Sicilian fortified wine that like sherry may be sweet or dry and, also like sherry, seems particularly well-suited to maturing Speyside single malt whiskies.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
