A superb example of one of Scotland’s lost distilleries, this Glenury Royal 1973 was bottled by Signatory Vintage in 1997 as part of their highly regarded Silent Stills series. Distilled on 21st June 1973 and matured for 24 years in single cask #6851, it was bottled at its natural cask strength of 53.7% and yielded just 364 bottles.

Glenury Royal closed in 1985 and was subsequently demolished, making every surviving bottling a tangible piece of Scotch whisky history. The Silent Stills range was created to celebrate Scotland’s closed distilleries, and these early Signatory releases have become increasingly sought after by collectors for both their quality and rarity.

Presented in the original wooden display case with satin lining with a miniature companion bottle and a section of the original cask head displaying the distillery name, vintage, cask number and strength.
