Description

Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 750ml / 48.4%

A single cask Glengoyne 2008 10-year-old Highland single malt whisky released by indie bottlers Douglas Laing in 2019 as part of their Old Particular range. This is a 750ml bottle, so was likely for an export market.

This 10-year-old Glengoyne 2008 was bottled by Douglas Laing without colouring or chill filtration from single cask 13173, a refill hogshead cask that yielded a total outturn of 264 bottles at a great drinking strength of 48.4%, which is one of Douglas Laing’s preferred strengths and is approximately equivalent to 85 proof in the old UK imperial system. Indie Glengoyne is rare, and unsherried Glengoyne is particularly unusual, so this is a treat.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
