Tasting Notes

Glenfarclas 10 year old - provides a glimpse into all the various styles that this distillery offers. Oily and spicy with big fruity tones, subtle notes of honey, biscuits and wax and gentle touch of phenols and smoke. This is the perfect introduction to this distillery and a great example of a more old-style Speysider. Glenfarclas is easily one of the most genuine and charming distilleries in Scotland today and this 10yo is the perfect introduction to the stunning quality that this distillery has produced for decades now. A great whisky at a great price.

Glenfarclas 12 year old - Packed full of sherry and fruit, this is one up from the 10-year-old in terms of depth of flavour. A fantastic whisky that was originally released for export markets and travel retail but has now found itself a stable home. Delicious!

Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength - The Glenfarclas 105 has been going strong for a long time now. Bottled in various guises since the late 60s this legendary name is synonymous with massive notes of chocolate, fruit oils, nutmeg, caramel, stewed fruits, simmering spices, dark brown sugar, leather, wax and very thick notes of clean, vibrant sherry. A consistently wonderful bottling that shows Glenfarclas in all its youthful, naked glory.
