A 1991 24 year old Glendronach matured in an oloroso sherry butt. One of 331 bottled from cask number 2361 at 53.1%. This is a different level altogether, huge, dense sticky dark fruits, aged cognac, rancio, treacle and leather notes abound. A little walnut oil, damp hessian and dunnage as well. Stellar!
