Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 55%
Glen Scotia is often overlooked by some whisky fans who think Campbeltown starts and ends with Springbank. This is a shame, because Glen Scotia is a very fine Campbeltown single malt whisky in its own right.
This Glen Scotia 1992 is a case in point, bottled as a 28-year-old from a first fill bourbon cask by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series at an enticing 55%. Just 194 bottles were yielded from Cask #34, and we'd bet this will be a cracking dram.
