A small batch Glen Ord 2016 9-year-old Highland single malt whisky released in 2025 by indie bottlers Signatory Vintage as #66 of their 100-Proof Editions series.
This small batch 100-Proof 9-year-old Glen Ord 2016 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration from a small batch of first fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads and second fill Oloroso sherry butts, and is bottled at the traditional strength of 57.1%, equivalent to 100 Proof in the old UK imperial system. Sherried Glen Ord is generally great, this should be a very nice dram.

Once again Signatory have bottled a single malt of great character, cask strength,, and non chill filtered at a very reasonable price. A great but in my opinion. One of the less available malts as well.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
