Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Signatory Vintage 70cl / 52.7%
1990s Glen Keith is proving itself to be rather fascinating whisky and has prompted a modest revival among the cognoscenti for a distillery that was long neglected under Seagram's stewardship of Chivas Brothers in the 1980s and 1990s. Sadly Glen Keith was in mothballs between 1999-2013 so there will be a significant gap in stocks once all these great 1990s casks have gone.
This particular Glen Keith is a microbatch of two hogsheads of the 1997 vintage, bottled by Signatory Vintage for their Cask Strength Collection at the great drinking strength of 52.7%. These hoggies of Glen Keith often start out a little nervous before blossoming into patisserie, orchard and tropical fruit flavours, so be patient and give it time to breathe.
