Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 51.8%
A 28-year-old Glen Keith 1993 bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series. This 1993 Glen Keith is a UK Exclusive bottling.
Bottled without colouring, chill filtration or dilution from a single refill American hogshead cask #97142, this 1993 Glen Keith came out at a cask strength of 51.8%, yielding 230 bottles. There've been some tremendous 1993s from Glen Keith, which is itself a truly underrated Speyside distillery- we'd wager this 28-year-old refill hoggie will be a banger.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich vanilla and white chocolate aromas give way to grapefruit zest. Tropical fruit leads to fresh apple and honey.
Palate: Pineapple and watermelon flavours are balanced by black pepper. Watermelon and citrus fruit flavours combine with toasted almonds.
Finish: A medium-bodied finish of lingering spice and fruit.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
Having been fortunate enough to visit Scotland’s little gem distillery twice in the past ( amongst several others) it soon became my favourite dram. This like all its predecessors is a pleasure to savour and a real treat . The only problem is the self discipline required to make the bottle last long enough and show the respect and gratitude to its makers in producing this and in my humble opinion all others from Scotland’s little gem.
