A litre bottle of Fundador Solera Reserve, Spain's oldest brandy. The Bodega Fundador was established in Jerez in 1730 and their Fundador brandy was introduced in 1874 by Pedro Domecq Loustau. The Fundador name literally means 'founder' in reference to the brand being the first Spanish grape brandy.
Fundador is made with the sherry grapes Airen and Palomino, and like many sherries is aged in a Solera system. This Spanish brandy can be sipped neat but makes a great cooler with plenty of ice and the mixer of your choice.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
