A 29-year-old Fettercairn 1988 bottled in 2018 without colouring or chill filtration by Cadenhead's for their Authentic Collection series.
Until recently most officially-bottled Fettercairn suffered from low bottling strengths and heavy-handed use of caramel colouring, so these 'naked' indie versions are always welcome. This 1988 Fettercairn 29-year-old was bottled by Cadenhead's from a single ex-bourbon hogshead cask that yielded a very generous 252 bottles at its natural strength of 54.9%, and should be an absolute peach.
