Distilled in 1970 quite some time before the distillate started to go a little 'weird', this is Dallas Dhu at its farmy, waxy, lush and old school best. A big, mineraled, oily, fruit and wax driven highlander that will delight anyone looking for a break from the more sterile wood driven malts of today's supermarkets.


This is one of these Dallas Dhu's that lets you get very close to the distillate character, thus making it not only a great whisky in its own right, but also a valuable window into the personality of this sadly deceased distillery.
