Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Duncan Taylor 70cl / 55.4%
Craigellachie's owners Bacardi (Dewar's) have stepped up their focus on the distillery in recent years, so there's plenty more of it about - until about five years ago it was much harder to find indie bottlings apart from the odd G&M release. Anyway, it's great to see this sherry cask Craigellachie 2008 from Duncan Taylor, bottled in 2021 as as 12-year-old for their Dimensions series.
This particular sherry cask of Craigellachie 2008, the snappily-titled cask 75900399, yielded a healthy 336 bottles at its full cask strength of 55.4%. At that strength you might prefer it with a drop of water, but our guess is that you probably won't need much.
