Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by John Crabbie 70cl / 45.5%
Crabbie continue with their top-notch single cask releases, following the success of their outstanding M*c*ll*ns. This time it's another secret Speyside single malt whisky (from the) Glenlivet (valley). A 28 year old 1992 vintage ex-bourbon cask that yielded just 260 bottles at cask strength of 45.5%.
Crabbie have a good track record of selecting great casks from blue chip distilleries that are rarely bottled independently, so we've got very high hopes for this.

Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose gives fresh fruit aromas – apples, pears, pineapple and cherry. Fruity notes continue with hints of chocolate, oak spice, caramel and vanilla.
Taste: Spicy oak flavours become more apparent along with toffee apples and chocolate-covered caramels, followed by lovely fruit sweetness, vanilla and a hint of coconut.
Finish: Sweet and creamy.
