Released in 2015 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Compass Box, Hedonism Quindecimus was a limited-edition reinterpretation of the company's flagship Hedonism blended grain whisky. Created by founder John Glaser, Quindecimus was designed to showcase the extraordinary complexity that can be achieved with mature grain whisky.
The whisky was composed from a selection of aged grain whiskies sourced from several distilleries, including particularly old stocks from the now-closed Port Dundas and Cambus distilleries. The result is a richer, deeper and more mature style than the standard Hedonism, with notes of vanilla custard, coconut, honey, polished oak, tropical fruits and soft spices balanced by a luxurious creamy texture.
Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring, Hedonism Quindecimus was released as a limited edition of 5,689 bottles worldwide, with each bottle individually numbered. It remains one of the most highly regarded releases in the Hedonism series and a landmark bottling from Compass Box's early years.

I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
