Islay Single Malt Whisky
Bottled By Woolf / Sung Spirits 50cl / 52.3%
You might think at first glance that this Artful Dodger Bunnahabhain 2013 8-year-old is in a black bottle, but it isn't - that's the whisky! We've seen some pretty dark Bunnas before, but never a black one - this will be popular.
This remarkable 8-year-old Bunnahabhain 2013 started life in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead before being finished in a cask that previously contained Vino de Color, which is a heavily concentrated grape juice from Pedro Ximenez or Moscatel grapes that is added to some sherry wines to give them a darker colour.
Bunnahabhain 2013 Cask 90071 yielded 381 of Artful Dodger's fancy half litre (50cl) stoppered bottles at a natural strength of 52.3%. We reckon you'll need to be quick if you want one of these.

What The Bottler Says
Our second Bunnahabhain bottling to date is the antithesis of the first. This 8-year-old malt was moved into a sticky, sweet Vino de Color cask in its later life and has stained our whisky soaked heart as black as the night’s sky. May it leave its mark on you...
