An old litre bottle of Bunnahabhain 12-year-old Islay single malt whisky bottled in the 1990s. This litre bottle was released at 43% and seems certain to have been for the travel retail market.
These old Bunnahabhain 12-year-olds were generally heavily sherried, as they are today, but were usually softer, sweeter and slightly gentler than more modern iterations as most batches included a proportion of stock much older than the stated age. The rare 43% versions of this classic unpeated Islay whisky are, of course, more highly sought-after than the 40% editions from the same period.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.
