The 17 year old was one of the most popular releases at the time when Bruichladdich was taken over in 2001. Today it remains a whisky well worth seeking out, full of green fruits, cereals, butter, herbal notes and bags of sandalwood and coastal mineral qualities. This is one of the sadly forgotten modern greats of Islay Whisky.
