Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: The Alistair Walker Whisky Company 70cl / 51.4%
A very tempting 2006 Blair Athol which spent the last period of its 15 years maturation being finished in a hogshead that previously held Moscatel, a sweet sherry-like fortified wine, before being bottled for the Infrequent Flyers series by Alistair Walker.
This 15-year-old Blair Athol 2006 Moscatel Finish is a single cask edition of just 281 bottles, at a natural cask strength of 51.4%. Expect a sweet explosion of dried fruit and cakespices.
