This 13-year-old Benrinnes 2012 was bottled by Signatory without colouring or chill filtration from a small batch of first fill Oloroso sherry butts at a mighty 57.1%, equivalent to 100 proof in the old UK imperial system. Benrinnes' gutsy spirit is ideal for heavy sherry and this looks like another snip at the price.

I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
