Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 47.3%
A magnificent Balvenie created by legendary Malt Master David Stewart, this 30-year-old is composed of whiskies matured for at least three decades in a combination of traditional American oak and European sherry casks. This label design was first released in 2014 as a replacement for the distillery's earlier 30-year-old bottling.
David Stewart's decades of experience are evident throughout, with the marrying of these exceptionally mature casks producing a whisky of remarkable balance and sophistication. Rich honey, soft vanilla, dried fruits and polished oak mingle with notes of dark chocolate, baking spices and gentle citrus, all carried by Balvenie's famously silky texture.
Bottled at 47.3% ABV Balvenie 30 Year Old is a superb example of mature Speyside whisky, combining age, complexity and drinkability in equal measure. A modern classic from one of Scotland's most respected distilleries.

I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
