Already proving to be a big hit before it has even been listed. Edition #79 in Signatory Vintage’s 100-Proof series is a 2016 vintage Balmenach Speyside single malt Scotch whisky.
This 10-year-old Balmenach was finished in first-fill Oloroso Sherry Butts and was bottled at the legendary 57.1% ABV—the equivalent to 100-Proof in the old UK imperial system. As with all releases in this series, it has been bottled without added colouring or chill filtration.
Balmenach's gutsy wormtub-cooled spirit pairs perfectly with sherry cask matured whisky, so it's no surprise that this particular expression is already so popular.

I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
