Signatory have bottled a dozen or so Balmenachs for their Cask Strength Collection, the majority between 2013 and 2015 with the last one bottled in 2019, so it's excellent to see this great distillery back in their inventory.
Matured for 17 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt (cask number 3), yielding 671 bottles at a natural cask strength of 57.8% ABV without added colouring or chill filtration.

I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
