Tasting Notes
Alistair's Tasting Notes
Colour: Yellow gold.
Nose: Bananas and marzipan. Vanilla and toffee, with an intriguing hint of cashew nuts.
Taste: Honey and vanilla. Sugared almonds, stewed raisins and caramelised Demerara sugar. Very spicy, especially at the back - allspice, cloves and pepper.
Finish: Zingy, and spicy… seriously spicy.
